The short version
Wear & Tear Review makes money when a reader clicks a link on this site, goes to a seller, and buys something. The seller pays us a commission out of its own margin. You pay the same price you would have paid if you had typed the address into your browser yourself. That is the entire business model, and it is why this page exists.
Which links pay us
Every link on this site that goes to the JointBrex seller is a paid link. They are marked in the page code as sponsored links, they open in a new tab, and they pass through a redirect on our own domain so that we can see which part of the review sent the click. Links to research sources, government health pages and our own pages pay us nothing.
What it does not buy
A commission does not buy a score, a placement, a favourable sentence or the removal of an unfavourable one. Nobody at any supplement company sees a review before it goes live, nobody gets to approve a rating, and we do not accept payment to review a product at all. Our JointBrex review scores the product 4.76 out of 5 and still spends several paragraphs on what is wrong with the seller's own page, prints the critical reviews in full, and tells anyone with a shellfish allergy not to buy it at all. A publication that could be bought would not run those paragraphs next to the buy button.
We also do not choose products by commission rate. If a better paying product were worse, it would score worse, which is a boring commitment to make and an easy one to check over time.
Why the disclosure is at the top of the page
The Federal Trade Commission asks publishers to disclose a material connection clearly and conspicuously, close to the recommendation, in language an ordinary reader understands. The guidance sits in 16 CFR Part 255, the endorsement guides. We put a plain sentence under the header on every page that carries a paid link, we repeat it next to the buttons themselves, and we repeat it again in the footer. What we are not
We are not the manufacturer of JointBrex, not its distributor, not its customer service and not its official website. We cannot look up your order, change an address, cancel a shipment or process a refund. For any of that, contact the seller through the support address published on its own site. JointBrex is a trademark of its respective owner, used on this site to identify the product under review.
Reader reviews and testimonials
The reader ratings on this site are a sample we collected and present as editorial content, not as an audited dataset. Reviews submitted through our form are moderated before publication, are not paid for, and are not added to the aggregate rating figures. If we ever publish a review in exchange for anything of value, we will say so in the review itself.
